Coastal Community Resilience

As the Science Communication and Community Engagement intern with the Coastal Institute (University of Rhode Island), I work to promote CI initiatives on community resilience to climate change.

These initiatives include the Climate Response Demonstration Site (CRDS) program, which provides examples of natural, community and urban adaptation strategies to sea level rise and storm surge that are being implemented across the state of Rhode Island. As an intern, I created story maps in ArcGIS on each of these strategies to re-vamp the Coastal Institute website.
